metronome sound level

I've seen multiple posts (going back years) requesting the metronome be given volume control. Is this due to happen at some point? Is there an ETA? It's a real issue as i'm using headphones and the metronome is significantly louder than the guitar. I feel like my head is being attacked by someone with a hammer!

Also i would like to request an option to stress the first beat is added, so we would be given the option to either make the first beat louder or a different sound to the other beats, or both together.

I've seen it mentioned there's a wish list but i couldn't find it. Please add this to that list if necessary.
