Control Multiple Instances of Amplitube

I apologize if my searching skills failed me but I didnt find an answer to this question.

I am trying to dial in guitar tones on a recording in Cakewalk. I have 2 guitar parts panned L and R on a total of 4 tracks. I cant really tell how it sounds in the mix without changing the setting on all 4 instances of Amplitube. Is there any way to sync them so I can change their setting simultaneously?

Hello fooldog01 and welcome to the forum.

Not within AmpliTube ("AT4") itself. Maybe you can change the track routing in Cakewalk or use some sort of parameter linkage (if such a feature exists)?

There are 16 automatable parameters in AT4 that can be mapped to controls. Or you can assign MIDI CCs directly. Perhaps you could send MIDI CC messages to the instances of AT4?

That sounds like something worth trying. I will dig into that this evening and see what I can learn.

I assume that putting Amplitube in a bus and routing multiple guitars to it would sound janky? Even if they are panned before being sent?

This might do it:

AmpliTube 4 is capable of mono or stereo input. We implemented a full stereo signal path that allows you to:
• Use AmpliTube 4 on two instruments simultaneously, each one with their own rig.
• Use AmpliTube 4 as a true stereo multi-effects unit on every instrument in your DAW session.
• Add AmpliTube 4 effects to your stereo recording of drums, keyboards and more.
