Hi:
Still using 32bit Windows 7 Pro Tools 10.3 and will never upgrade ProTools (don't ask).
While working with Amplitube 3 on a session, I wanted to use the SVX cabinet models but the Custom Shop said I needed to purchase...so I paid my $89 for the bundle and when I tried to download it, I was getting the message that I need Amplitube 4 (which I can't use because of the 32 bit limitation).
I would have thought that Amplitube 3 would not have pointed me to purchase a model that wouldn't be compatible.
Am I missing something or have I just thrown away $89
Thanks
Markus

Hello markus44uk and welcome to the forum.
The AmpliTube SVX product in your User Area includes the AT4 software and the Serial Number to make the SVX gear available. But I am pretty sure that the SVX gear was available in AT3.
I think that you should be able to do this:
-- authorise the SVX gear in the Authorization Manager using the SVX serial number,
-- start Custom Shop, login, switch the the AmpliTube section and select [Gear] >> Restore my Gear,
-- then check whether the SVX gear is listed under [Gear} >> My Gear.
If so, you should be good to go. Close the Authorization Manager and Custom shop and start AT3 (standalone or as a plug-in).

Hi and thanks...
I am not clear on how I download the SVX assets so that Pro Tools "sees" them.
Also you mention I should start AT4 at the end of your reply...I am using AT3...was that just a typo?
Cheers
Markus

All the gear is within the AmpliTube software - Authorising using the Serial Number makes it available.
AT4? - yep, a typo, now fixed.
