Amplitube 4.... need some help

Postby Shai`tan » Sun Jun 21, 2020 1:45 am

Ok, through trial and error, Amp in Amplitube 4 now sees my guitars input signal. I have definately learned a few things.... and none of these were easy to find or figure out...... and they weren`t in the install instructions or manual etc. Aaaah well... off to try the Boogie Models.

Hi Shai`tan

As I suggested in your previous post, did you try out the free demo version before you paid for the full product?

I would suggest, before asking for a refund, you engage with Official IK Support here https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/sw/ and they will be able to give you help and a definitive answer to what you are hoping to achieve.

**Edit: Just seen in the other thread that you have a ticket raised.

Many users are using AT4 quite happily with Windows 10.

Ok.... after much scroowing around, I have figured out how to make the Amplitube 4 app window larger so I can actually see settings etc. As well I found another post where someone said this:

"You should use Focusrite ASIO drivers and connect the speakers to
your audio interface, not to the computer."

Since I have my monitors connected to my pc via usb, I must conclude that this is why I cannot select them as my Output Source? I guess I`m going to have to acquire a couple of TRS cables with guitar type jacks on both ends to connect my monitors to the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2?

This is where I am at so far.
