alesis guitar link plus

Postby ruicunha103 » Thu Jul 21, 2016 4:31 pm

today i bought a alesis guitarlink plus cable, with it came a amplitube 3 software license key.

Afert instalation i get in the mid setup after selecting directx buffer size 2048 huge lag of sound when i play the strings?

With lower buffer the sound is very bad.

Is there any solution?

Yes, directx or wasapi is not going to work for you in terms of playing live. You'll need to install and configure ASIO4All.

You can download it here: http://www.asio4all.com/

And here is a tutorial on how to set it up in FruityLoops but it applies to Amplitube as well.

Is it a constant beeping or like a chirp on your pick attack? The chirps usually come when you're using way too much gain. Dial it back a little and see if it clears up. Otherwise can you upload a an audio sample of what you're hearing?

I agree that ASIO4ALL could be much more user-friendly. But, ASIO4ALL is a free third party tool that I personally find should only be used as a last resort so I can understand that it won't be as polished as real drivers provided by the manufacturer. If your audio interface has official drivers, you should always try to use those first.

What device? If you mean the Alesis that is the topic of this thread you may want to ask Alesis support as we do not make that interface.

You may want to see support from Alesis as IK does not make the interface (cable) you are using.

This is an IK Multimedia forum. I was stating we do not make that product.
