Amplitube 4.9.1 crash on start.
OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan

Ordinarily, a critical problem with crashing is not expected behaviour and is probably something specific to your system.

As this is a user-to-user forum and not direct to IKM support, in case no one else chimes in here with advice or a solution, you should raise a ticket with IK official support here https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/mi/

They normally endeavour to reply to tickets within 2 working days, but considering the current global situation this might be a little longer.

Hello, I’m facing the same problem. Whenever I set a sample rate above 96khz the app crashes randomly. Upgrading system memory seemed to solve but it still happens.
And the system is unsuitable for music production. The same applies to daw plugins. They make the daw crash.

In Windows systems the app works as expected, but my production system is on Mac...

Wonder to know if they test their apps and gear to make sure work as expected on Mac systems. I got an Axe I/O interface and I’m unable to use it at its best because of poor app support on Mac systems.

Of course opened a support ticket on 23th April but got no answer...

If you haven't had a answer back yet (check in your spam folder as well) you can reply to your own original ticket asking for assistance. The Support team are inundated with tickets at the moment and are dealing with them as quickly as they can. As yours is nearly 2 weeks old I think a little bump is fine.

Alternatively, you can send a PM to Peter_IK with your ticket number and he will try and chase it up with support.

I'm having the same problem. I had the free version, but have liked it enough on PC that I was definately going to buy the whole package (my son has it and loves it with pro tools). This could be a deal breaker though if I can't get at least the free version to work. Would support even help though if I haven't purchased yet?

Yes, Official IK Support will help you with the free version of AmpliTube. Remember, whatever you read, even if your symptoms are the same eg. crashing, the reasons for it may be wildly different to anyone else.

Yes, many do.
