How to enable midi volume control in ST4 [Resolved]

Hi, I'm sure this is a really dumb newbie question but I've googled and read the (longish) manual and still can't crack it.

I am using a midi keyboard to play instruments in ST4.

Notes and sustain work fine out of the box, BUT the volume slider (assigned in the keyboard as CC07 I think)has no effect in ST4 AND I've no clue how to pragram it.

Can anyone help please!

Right-click the fader on the GUI, select "MIDI Learn", then twiddle your hardware volume slider.
