Impossible to install Amplitube 4 osx /Error 112

Hi guys,

I have a serious problem that i can't solved,Impossible to install Amplitube 4 even Authorization manager due to an error code 112 ! I use a Macbook pro ,10.13.6,i just reinstalled some of my plug ins and voila !! I tried everything ,even clean up the preferences folder but always the same result . Error Domain=PKInstallErrorDomain Code ==112
The installation failed -The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail ..
I have a Support Ticket Opened 5220069 but with the covid 19...
Am i the only guy on the planet to have that problem ??

If you haven't done so already re-download the installer from IK and try again. That error means that one of the scripts in the .pkg has failed. Also, when you start the installer, before you click install/continue, hit command-L to show the installer log - that can give a more detailed hint as to what went wrong.

I'm having the exact same problem. Amplitube will not install on High Sierra 10.13.6 - almost reaches the end then shows the 'installed failed' error message. I had a partition that still had 10.13.3 (but no Amplitube) and after starting from that disk Amplitube installed without issue. This suggest that 10.3.6 is the culprit - be nice to have a fix for this.

Make sure you have downloaded the most up-to-date version of AT4 (v4.9.1).

I updated to this version just yesterday, on High Sierra 10.13.6. without issue but had also not seen any problems with previous installations on this OS.

Thanks for the quick reply - I'm trying to install from version 4.9.1 in fact. This is a clean install, by the way, not an update.

Is there any way to install the components without using the Mac installer? I did try copying them from my successful install on the other disk but when trying to open Amplitube I get a 'not correctly registered' message so I guess that doesn't work!

Sorry clp560, this is a user-to-user forum and not direct to tech support. That type of action is well beyond my knowledge.

I would suggest opening a ticket with Support. In the meantime, you could try installing a slightly older version (4.9.0) to see if that gives you the same issue.

Not sure if this will work for everyone, but I tried installing it about 5 times and was getting the same error. I switched off Avast and tried again, this time it worked.
Might be a coincidence but I'm up and running now

Did Avast report any errors / alerts?
