ST4 - VSTi Plugin in DAW doesn't save edits to instruments?

Hi all,

I noticed that if I make edits to instruments in the ST4 plugin within my DAW (Reaper), the instrument edits don't save the state that they're in if I close the DAW and re-open the same project. The instruments revert back to their default settings. Is this intended? Am I supposed to make sure to be using the "save multis" option, or something?

I don't believe that this is expected behaviour and I certainly haven't experienced it.

Has there been any similar situations on the Reaper forums? Saving a project in the DAW should include all virtual instrument settings as well.

The edits are saved in the Reaper project here. So when I restart Reaper and load the project those edits are still present.

Weird. I can replicate this issue 100% of the time. Basically, I'm editing a synth that is normally legato into poly, so I can make chords using the synth. When I save, close the project, and then reopen, the synth reverts back to legato from the poly that I saved it as.
