Is it still likely to see the Amplitube Satriani released in the next couple days?
I'm dying to try out that new gear!

It's March now. Did we hit a snag?
iMac, Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Logic Pro X, All versions of Amplitube, and a lot of beer fueled creativity.

Patiently waiting for my IK pre order. Sweetwater currently has it as an electronic delivery downloaded in minutes with no mention of pre order.....Typo?

I keep checking my products on the IK site for a change in the Amplitube version number as a sign of imminent release, but alas. I assume there will need be an updated version prior to release for obvious reasons.

Maybe this month? this is why I hate pre orders, I swear it takes longer when you prepay

We are working hard with Joe to get the best possible tone which meets both Joe's and IK's very high standards (as well as respecting Joe's busy schedule with his recent hard work on releasing a new album). We appreciate your patience as it appears we will be releasing AmpliTube Joe Satriani in March. Stay tuned for more details.

(Too) early announcements have far more backfire potential than anything.
These announcements do not help the manufacturer nor the customer at all.
Still, I am waiting. But I am not a patient guy so I'd rather not know about the SJ50.

Please note that Peter said "expect". IKM has a good track record of hitting their dates. I pre-ordered as well since they usually provide a good discount if you do.

dlg,
Holy cow! I haven't seen you anywhere on the internet for years! Hope you are doing well. "The Chaos Magician" sounds nice. I still complete about one original song a month.

Yeah, not since the old Line 6 message boards, probably over 10 years ago, back when the old board was a real user driven message board. Remember all of the multiple page battles between Radley (Neal Diamond guitarist) and the other long time members when he was trying to sell his black box "fizz buster". Believe it or not, Line 6 still has those theads archived. The link below is from 13 years ago... I remember like it was yesterday... :D

Thanks! I will be adding new videos every couple of months or so. I used my AXE I/O on the guitars, bass (Amplitube 4) and vocals (T-RackS 5). The drums are MODO Drums, which is also an IK Multimedia plugin.

Nice to hear from you again. :)
