Samsung s8 no light on IRIG UA

Just purchased irig UA.
Connected my Samsung S8. No light coming on the I rig device......
Anyone having this problem with S8.

Have you notified IK Support at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-sup ... -hardware/ (don't mind the iOS portion of the URL, you can also choose Android devices there)? They will surely be able to troubleshoot and assist you with your issue directly.

IRIG UA perfectly work with Samsung S8 but you can not use the micro USB cable that came with the IRIG and the micro USB / USB- Type C adapter : It does not work.
You must use the other USB / USB- type C adapter supplied with the S8 and a micro-USB / USB cable that you have on the power supply of your old phone for example and play

I have a samsung tab s3. I bought a micro to usbC adapter. This didnt work. I then used an micro to USB A Cable connected to a usbA to usb C cable. That worked fine

I have a Sony xperia and am having the same issue. I paid nearly $200 on the irig ua and have now purchased several cords and adapters and still cannot use it. I have owned several irigs in the past which have been great with my old IPhones, but now I have an android so got the irig which is supposed to work with it and it doesn't... Not happy

I bought a usb hub and it is powered by a usb c cable to a charger. It also powers the Irig ua and it transfers data etc. I think the audio is a little lower than expected but my Bose headphones seem to be like that anyway. I used the usb c to usb 3.0 socket also. My s8 and Irig UA wouldn't work with it until I did that.

what helped for me was buying a OTG supported adapter. when attaching a non OTG it didnt work so i went to shop and swapped it
