Official MixBox Wish List

Discussion about MixBox and T-RackS

Re: Official MixBox Wish List

Thank you, DarkStar and Peter. I have contacted Support before but haven't received an answer (so this is why I tried to get an answer here in this topic). Seems a bit hard to understand why the owners of T-Racks Sunset should pay the full price after the introductory offer but it is what it is....

Simply the ability to open any T-racks model you own within mixbox. Include a button to switch between rack view and 500 series view.

Deep integration with SamleTank4 / Syntronik 2:

All SampleTank4/Syntronik2 effect modules will be avairable in MixBox
(Now lack of Acoustic Resonance, Piano Lid)

All MixBox modules will be avairable in SampleTank4/Syntronik2
(Now lack of British Dynamics, Sunset Reverbs)

Happy New Year 2023!

I love MixBox every time I use it! But I think there are some bad design decisions made here, which I'm sure have been discussed more than once [mod redacted - unnecessary, untrue]

For me the main issue of barely using MixBox is the "design logic" of the equalizers, the high frequency zone MUST BE ON THE TOP PART, please IK, correct this!

The second issue is that it seems that adding more modules, free and paid, has been forgotten.

I have tried I think all the modular systems that exist on the market and I say that MixBox is the most complete in terms of resources (what you pay for what you get) but I think it is a bit abandoned.

and the third, is that there are not many maintenance updates, and the product needs them, sometimes I get Cubase freezes browsing between presets or loading some modules.

In summary;

1-Redesign of the EQ modules, bass freq DOWN and treble freq UP

2-More modules; the rest of T-Racks that can be useful in the MixBox environment and some tools like Filters, Gate, etc. Free and paid too, why not (as long as it's an attractive price, for example 9.99 if you already have the namesake in T-racks)

3-Maintenance updates and extra features for the operation of MixBox.

I review this forum, lately less because it has no activity, and there is no activity, therefore, Users and developers give more movement to the forum!

- More quality presets, made by real pros, also with more descriptive names

- More and/or higher quality delays: the tape echo is really basic for instance, a good BBD emu would be nice (Arturia did a good job there I think)

- Some more interesting modulation device, MIDI Murf-inspired, would also be great.

Not sure if this thread is being monitored anymore, but I certainly hope it is!

I would love to see clean high and low pass filters integrated into the I/O section of the interface, perhaps below the input fader on the left slide? It seems silly to use a whole rack space for an analog modeled filter when most of the time I just need a high pass filter on the input. I'd imagine this would take almost no development time or resources, but it would be a massive workflow and usability improvement for literally every user.

Also, could we get Comprexxor integrated into MixBox? It seems like the only real obvious thing that's missing other than the filters to me.

Lastly, I saw an earlier post of someone who dislikes the way some of the EQs are laid out with the low band on top. This also doesn't really make sense to me and would make much more sense the other way around, with high bands always on top.

Love the sonics and CPU optimization of MixBox though. It's on its way to fully replacing Slate VMR for me (I just really want those filters!)

Mixbox is a game changer. I use mixbox to mix my songs for ESPN and NBA 2K

My wish is for the Mixbox Vst to operate like the Mixbox Standalone. Multiple racks in one plugin instance. A set of plugins for Rack 1 Rack 2 and so forth.. Imagine having 8 Different parrell racks.

And a plus would be mid/side capability......

Hi!
I'm using mixbox on the iPad with my digital mixer and is nice!
This is a set of feature request for the iOS version

1. Allow to drag and drop the modules to reorder them
2. A module general input and output volume (or a trim module!)
3. Allow to send multiple rack to the same HW out, summing the signal. This allows me to have multiple sends from the console that all go to the same effect return channel in standalone.
Allow to send audio from one rack to another? An "aux send" module

Better reverbs (the one from track are nicer I think?)

It would be really cool if MixBox had the A-B-C-D slots that the individual VSTs got for comparison of presets, too.

And Classic Clipper - I was a bit disappointed that this one is not included, I really like that Clipper and would love to have it in here.

you should be able to A/B chains using the top navigator feature.

But yes, I too am surprised clipper is not in there. Maybe a clipper is built into it?

Only in standalone, would be nice to have that option in the VST, too...
and no clipper at all... I think Classic Clipper is the only one that IK have.
