SampleTank for ios, pair with keyboard via bluetooth

I downloaded Sampletank on my iPhone. I also have this app on my Windows laptop and am able to pair with my Williams keyboard via bluetooth.

I cannot figure out a way to pair with my external keyboard via bluetooth with the ios app. I see references to the iRig MIDI2. Do I need a device like this, or is there a way to pair with my iPhone directly with the free iOs app?

I guess what I'm trying to ask is, is there a way I can play SampleTank on my iPhone built-in speakers, and not headphones or through some other device? Similar to how I can pair GarageBand with my bluetooth keyboard?
