MODO Bass. Velocity Curve

What exactly is / does the 'Velocity Curve' do in MODO Bass?
I know exactly what 'Velocity' is.
I know exactly how 'Velocity' relates to MIDI.
I know exactly what a 'Curve' is.
But, I have no idea what a 'Velocity Curve' could be!

The velocity curve is found on the 'Setting' (The gear button).

I also notice that in the manual the settings shows a 'Pull velocity threshold'. I am running version 1.5.2 and I do not have a 'Pull velocity threshold'. Why is this? (I am running as a VST).

I've just arrived at this and have exactly the same question of MODO Bass 2.
I go into setting and have a slider with velocity curve.
Anyone know what it is ?
