The yellow one simply named "overdrive" is also there.

How in the world did I miss that??? Thanks Peter! Now if you could get the powers that be working on the Dr. Robert and Windmiller from Aclam, that would be awesome! :D

Peter,
I figured out the problem. Can find the Satch Drive in Custom Shop if I search for it by name. However it doesn't show up on the Distortion page in Custom Shop. You may want to have the programmers look into that.

I sent in a note, thanks. I found it correctly placed in the Distortion category in AmpliTube 5 itself but not in Custom Shop 2.

I believe that someone has suggested Steve Hackett tones, which I would happily buy, if made available, but along with his (we also need a sustainer plug-in (not a compressor with sustain)), would be the related gear...

Colorsound Octivider
Colorsound Supa Tone Bender
Echo Plex EP3
Roland Space Echo (within AmpliTube)
A harmoniser (based on Eventides)
Digital Delay (based on a Lexicon)
Probably also a dual phaser based on both MXR 90 and 100 with SH settings.
Roland Jazz Chorus 120 Amp.

To add, also since Steve had purchased most of Gary Moore’s guitars, it might be cool to have Gary’s tone included in the tone set, along side Steve’s, and also ... since he was an influence to Steve (who did a version of Focus’ Tommy) Jan Akkerman.

Colorsound gear is, I believe, insufficiently appreciated -- possibly because the production kind of moved to OEM stuff later in the '70s and then kind of faded out for a good while. But both the original stuff and the brand-new revival "Macaris" gear is very much on the pricey side, these days!

The inductorless Colorsound wah was a real unique piece with its own sound, and often combined into single units with wah and/or swell, also. A model based on any configuration of this pedal (ideally with switchable fuzz and swell! ) would be awesome.

(As very random and obscure trivia, a Colorsound Supa Tonebender [basically a modified, louder but less compressed, "Ram's Head" Bigg Muff circuit] was ordered by Hawkwind's management in the early '70s for the use of Lemmy Kilmister on bass. Since even the live Hawkwind albums used DI bass, I'm doubtful whether this effect ever ended up on record. I understand it was stolen at some point during Lemmy's tenure in Hawkwind and was not replaced.)

For what it's worth, the existing EP Tape Echo from the Hendrix package is based on an EchoPlex, while the SSTE (mysteriously absent from the gear manual; I did send a note to Support) is based on Fulltone's modern re-creation of the EchoPlex. The SSTE is my go-to delay in AmpliTube. 8-)

Just as a note, T-Racks has (more sophisticated/powerful) models based on the EchoPlex and the Space Echo (though no version of the Space Echo is currently available for AmpliTube). They were very recently on sale as part of a "tape" bundle with the various tape machine models in T-RackS, though I do not know if they still are at the time of writing.

The venerable Jazz Amp 120 model is based on the Roland Jazz Chorus 120, though so is the newer Jazz Amp 120 CFH in the Dimebag bundle.

This may be because it is the "Satch Overdrive" in the Custom Shop (and AT5) and, if you search for "satch drive", it doesn't show up (though arguably it would be more useful behavior if it did!). You have to either search specifically for "satch overdrive" or just "satch" (or just "drive", actually, though this returns too many results to be very useful! ).

It was missing from the category in Custom Shop, though, so that too was fixed :D

I kind of want IK to make more cooperation with Officials like Marshall and Vox, to bring more Improved and officially certified models.

Also, Maybe consider making some "super" amps like marshall jcm 200 tsl 100, Like what you did with mesaboogie series.

It would be cool to have some "brownface" Fender amps modeled, such as the Pro, VibroVerb, and/or Super. They have distinct sonic signatures and also feature a harmonic tremolo circuit, something I believe currently unavailable in Amplitube.

I used to own a 1962 Fender Super.I would LOVE to have a modeled digital version of it.

Another Treble Booster that isnt the Brian May one... when using an electric 12 string, to get a sixties jangly sound, I use a compressor into a treble booster, but with the boost turned down very low to get just the signal to cut through in the context of a mix and I find the Brian May one just a bit too binary, on/off and when its on, its a bit too harsh.

Is there any other Treble Booster that the team could put into the Custom Shop, apart from the Brian May one?

Otherwise, AT5 is a great product. I dont use anything else these days, it does pretty much everything and its great to see Trace Elliot amongst the bass amps as well. Very very happy with it.

Dallas Arbiter Range Master was the go-to treble booster stompbox from the 60's.

As far as the booster in the May package your description of it is a lot like some other IKMM plugin emulations. Close but no cigar. The Mutron III emulation is way too bright and requires a way hotter signal to do anything and then you're defeating the purpose of the envelope follower. As to would say "binary".

Absolutely!! I found that even when backing off the input signal from the guitar, it still remained a little too much on/off/no middle ground, which I guess is unfortunate but not something that is easy to emulate in a software product, its not really my area of specialisation. That said though, for what AT5 offers me, as a whole, for the price I paid for it - I dont think any other product gets close. The thing is an absolute steal and an incremental leap over its previous incarnation IMVHO. Maybe these little things will improve with incremental iterations over its product lifecycle. I hope so.

Having done just a bit of a check-up on the kind of sound I was looking for, the actual path should be treble booster into compressor into an AC30, like a kind of Roger McGuinn/Byrds thing, - and yes, something like a RangeMaster would be absolutely fine for that. The compressors available both as stompboxes and rack kit in AT5 are fine for the purpose for what I need, just a little more variety in choice of stompbox would be fab. As it stands at the moment, its close, real close, but as we both agree..... no cigar just yet.
