Irig HD2 Latency

Postby Dalaroth » Sun Sep 13, 2020 4:52 pm

Hello,

i have question and i do not know how solve it. How i can increase quality samples with low latency ? Using Daw Reaper. If i use AssioForAll so i get around 12ms latency on 256samples.
If use IK Assio Driver so i get 8.2ms latency on 256 samples. How i can increase it ? I would like get lowest latency.

PC:
I3-9100f
Patriot Viper Elite gray 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2666
Seasonic CORE GC-500 - 500W
ASUS ROG STRIX B360-G GAMING - Intel B360
SSD 512GB
HDD 1TB
GPU - Sapphire Pulse RX 580

I have same latency on my laptop 11 years old and same latency on this new comp ? How is it possible ? Thanks !!

You would need to lower the buffer size until you had low latency but without audio cracks/pops.

However, please note that 8.2ms latency is the equivalent of standing ~8.2 feet from a guitar speaker cabinet / stage monitor so that's well within reasonable levels for almost all musicians.
