Shadows Hank Marvin Guitar Sound

Postby CLAUDE.LUTTMANN » Fri Jun 26, 2020 10:28 pm

I am just a fresh new Amplitube 4 user.

I am looking for a rig setup that would emulate the sound Hank Marvin developed for the tune "Apache" in the 60's.

Is there someone who already worked on this using Amplitube 4 ?

Thanks in advance for any answer on this topic,
Claude

Hello Claude and welcome to the forums.

You don't say what gear you've got, but if you have the Fender Collection, there's a preset called "Shadows-is" which is pretty good.

If not, then a clean amp into a 1x12" cab with a quick-ish delay or echo stomp would get you close. And a Strat (doesn't have to be red) :D

Here's a video of Hank talking about his sounds.

Hi all
The preset for shadows/hank is not in the fender collections in IOS AmpliTube.
