Volume diffeence between a clean and distorted

Postby tuttorouge » Sat May 23, 2020 11:17 pm

Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum and I’m using Amplitube CS for iPad as my main setup.
I actually purcheased the iRig Stomp I/O and I’m loving it!

However I want to bring to stage but I find very difficulty to balance the volume output between my clean tone and distorted tone.
Whatever amp I use the unbalance of the volume betweena clean tone or distorted is huge.
Simply lowering the volume of the amp will as well limit the gain of the distortion and it is not what I want to achieve.

What I would like is basically to be able to control the final output volume and set it differently from one set to another, from clean to distorted.

How can I do it? How can I balance the two volumes?

Would the virtual equalizer pedal (FX) can do it if placed in the post FX?

:geek:

Thanks for your answers! (And if the question is not in the right section, please let me know!)

Cheers

Actually.. I was looking at the Limiter Stomp...
It says that "it makes the tone louder keeping it clean".

Anyone has tried? Does it work?
