User error? (Maaaybe)

Postby MatthewNatyo » Wed Jan 24, 2024 6:23 pm

Common question but most answers are for a laptop. They seem to have more options in the… options.

I would like an ‘iRig for Dummies’ w/ pictures.

IRig 2 with an iPad Pro.

Bass (the one with 4 strings. Remember, dummies :D )
Cables in right spots.
Gain turned up on the iRig.
IRig plugged into the iPad (dummy)
Tuner off on GarageBand and AmpliTube.
Mic on in settings.
Tried both a bass amp track and an inter amp audio track.

Input adjust always greyed out on both apps.
No blinking input light.

Getting input audio but it’s not great quality. Often the tracks only look like a straight line.

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Make sure all cables are securely connected, including the iRig to the iPad. Check for any updates to GarageBand and AmpliTube. Try adjusting input settings within the apps or consult iRig's support for further assistance geometry dash unblocked

Adjusting the input in the apps is the main issue in the post.

The best way I’ve gotten a proper signal is to set up a new track in GB as a clean guitar amp (not a bass amp, which I play, or anything else). It the only one that’s gotten results. I’m sure it’s not the best/only way to do this but it’s the only that works.

Aside from plugging it in ;)
