Using Tonex pedal in amp's passive effects loop for reverb

Postby Dingbat3914 » Thu Dec 07, 2023 6:15 pm

Curious if anyone more knowledgable knows if this will work? I have a tube amp with a passive effects loop and I want to add some reverb to it. I could buy a dedicated reverb unit to add on, but I'm curious if I can just use my Tonex pedal? I'd create a preset with only reverb turned on. Anyone know if this will cause issues / break my amp? Thanks for the help!

Considering there aren't any reverb stomp pedals, I'm not sure how you'd accomplish this. If you add an amp or cab with reverb, then you'll be changing the characteristics of your amp.
