AXE I/O Solo Vs AXE I/O

Postby killerkobra » Wed Sep 13, 2023 12:01 am

I am considering buying one of these units but I am conflicted on which one. I am not massive on recording complex tracks. Basically I want it for practice and recording some riffs just on a personal level.

I will always be at my computer at home and not traveling or anything with the setup.

Is there a major advantage on getting the AXE I/O over the SOLO?

I would like to save some cash on getting the Solo but not if the AXE I/O is the better option overall.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Also can anyone recomment the best headphones for using with the AXE I/O.

Thanks.

The two mic inputs and the dedicated power were important to me. No regrets here with the AXE I/O. There may come a time when you want to experiment with two microphones.

The only notable changes are the quantity of I/O, the lack of mains power, the lack of a tuner, and the lack of a preset knob. To be honest, I'm shocked the external control and both MIDI IN and OUT are still present. It's a fantastic tiny UI.

just fall
