iRig HD 2 usb connector failing

Postby Chrispmaurer1 » Fri Jul 07, 2023 9:21 pm

I have an iRig HD 2 and I thought the micro-usb to lightning cable was bad because I have to move the cable around to get it to work.

Its almost like there is a short in the cable. A lot of static, then eventually it will start to work. But, you can't move the iRig, or the cable because it will stop working again.

I bought a replacement cable, thinking the cable was the issue. The new cable is exhibiting the same problem. So this leads me to believe that the micro-use connector on the iRig (or something connected to it) is bad.

Has anyone experienced issues like this?

Thanks in advance,
Chris
