I-rig Stomp I/O pedal control stopped working

Using my I-rig Stomp I/O while in LIVE mode on Amplitube 4 I used to be able to to stomp the "1 + 2" footswitches to enter Loop mode, then stomp "3" footswitch to start and stop Loop recording.
Sadly, now stomping on "3" footswitch nothing happens.
The green light over footswitch "3" is lit and it goes to red when I stomp on footswitch "3" - but software does not respond.
Ideas??
