some tonenet models sound weak compared to preview

So when I find a model I like, after clicking the preview button, I download it. Some sound just like the preview, while others are weak and sound nothing like the preview.

For example, these 2 from the same poster:

TJ 68 Purple Plexi J 5: Sounds great, just like the preview.

TJ 65 Deluxe Reverb V CLN: Sounds weak and lifeless

Do I have to hit the front end harder for clean patches?

Just got my Tonex a few days ago, still trying to sort it out.

Quite a few of the presets can use a little tweaking to dial it in perfectly , noise gates for example or removing compression overkill which a lot of them have. Once you get the sound you like then overwrite the original by saving back to your preset library with the same name.
