I have an Axe I/O audio interface that has been working fine until a few days ago.
The issue I am now having is when playing guitar the sound from amplitube or other guitar software is making a harsh clicking sound every few 4 to 5 seconds.
I have tried a number of things to find the cause including:
Changing guitar cable
Changing usb cable
Changing usb port
Using different input on Axe i/o
Using different software
Changing buffer settings
Changing audio quality
Nothing seems to work.
I tried a different audio interfaces and this did not repeat this issue so assumption is that something is causing Axe i/o to act like this.
I am using Windows 11 with plenty of ram etc. So there should not be an issue cpu etc
Just to confirm that the clicking noise only happens when playing the guitar - so if I mute it then there is no clicking sound. Also, I have made sure that anything like a mobile phone is not near the interface or guitar.
Anything anybody can suggest outside of the above would be gratefully appreciated.
