Stomp I/O + iPad mini 6th gen (usb-c) CHARGING

iRig Stomp I/O – This device will not work with the IK Multimedia USB-C to Mini-DIN cable. This will require a USB-C to USB-B cable. The example here has been used in various trade shows to show off our products.

I bought the suggested cable, and indeed it works. But the iPad won't charge.

So, here is my question. If I get a splitter like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XB4K4XC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, and connect it to a charger, will it power the Stomp i/o and charge the iPad thru the USB-C to B cable?

Well, answering to myself. Yes, it does work. Using an iPad charger thru a splitter charges the iPad and powers the unit.

Hi, I'm having the same problem. Does not charge ipad when in use. Have you tested using a lighting spliter (audio and charger)? or just working that way you did, using cable usb b to usb c?
