Recording MIDI effect?

Postby zanshin » Thu Oct 20, 2022 2:00 am

I've got a MIDI expression pedal (simple switch) and when I record it won't record the MIDI.

So it will record all the effects I have switched on, but when I activate say distortion with my MIDI pedal it doesn't record the distortion. Using Amplitube 4. I have no DAW aside from Audacity. THere must be a way to record the change in effect from the MIDI pedal?

Inside AmpliTube you do not have MIDI/automation for each track in the recorder like you would in a DAW. You would need to use a DAW for such functionality.

Also, I would suggest updating to AmpliTube 5. It sounds MUCH better and will run all of your AmpliTube 4 gear even in the free version.
