Behringer FCB1010 - Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen - Amplitube 5

Hi,

I'd like to understand one thing before I purchase a Behringer FCB1010 midi controller. Right now, I'm using Amplitube 5 by connecting my guitar directly to Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. The thing is, this audio interface doesn't have midi connection. Will I be able to use it if I connect the midi controller to my laptop via a USB-midi interface and still be able to use my audio interface?

I believe you will have to connect your footswitch to your computer, it will control Amplitube in your computer. A USB to Midi cable should be fine to connect to your computer. Hope this helps.

The FCB1010 only has 5pin DIN midi in and out. I bought an m-audio midisport which has a USB port that goes into the computer and a pair of 5 pin DIN midi connects that go into the FCB1010. Once I'm in AmpliTube 5 it sees both that device and my Axe I/O Solo
