I've been using the Axe I/o solo for recording a DI signal but when I have my guitar plugged into the instrument input it clips having the gain knob up even slightly...
This only happens with one of my guitars that have strong pickups (they're passive pickups)
but wouldn't I need the gain up to have a more sustained-sounding DI signal?
I've recorded with the gain down before and it sort of makes things sound a bit gated...
Any way around this?
