Axe I/O connection

I purchased the Axe I/O this week, and I am having trouble connecting the interface to my computer. I have tried every USB port in my computer, including the USB 2 which is recommended, and nothing. The USB light on the interface has not turned on once. When I try to find the Axe on my DAW, it is not there. Please help this is very frustrating.

Also, when I plug it in, Windows say's it's installing the driver, but after when I check the drivers, it says "Axe I-O Driver is Unavailable". I haven't had any other problems with my USB drivers, and the computer is only a year old.

You need to download the AXE I/O Control Panel & Drivers (both are in a single download) in your IK Product Manager (they will show there once you've registered your AXE I/O serial number).
