Rack Mounting the AXE I/O

Postby ricrum » Thu Jul 08, 2021 1:06 pm

I just received my AXE I/O Solo with the intention of mounting it in my home studio recording rack. There are lots of questions here about wether or not that’s possible. I’m a retired tech and do-it-yourselfer, and the answer to your concern is yes. The side/end panels are only decorative coverings (and feet) for the metal case - which encloses the sides/ends as well, and are removable with the use of a size T10 Torx or Star Driver. There’s also a network of slots on the bottom for screws (very short ones - of course) to mount the unit to a rack shelf. Hope this helps many concerned users of this fine piece of equipment.
