IRIG HD 2 with 250ohm headphones

Hello all,
I tried searching this topic but have not had any luck. I would like to purchase a set of Beyerdynamic DT770's for my recent IRIG HD 2 purchase. I had the regular IRIG but had to upgrade when I changed to the latest iPad. I would really like to get the 250ohm version of the 770's. Do any of you happen to know if the headphone out has enough power to accurately drive higher impedance headphones? I asked support and after several weeks they told me I might need an adapter to go from 1/4 inch to the smaller size! I said Gee Thanks for the SUPPORT! LOL

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris,

I have an iRig Pro Duo with am Beyerdynamic DT770 at 250 Ohms. If your hear at reasonable volumes the DT770 is more than loud enough. The DT770 comes with a 3,5mm connector and a 1/4 adaptor.

I use the DT770 even on my iPhone XS and I am happy with it.
