iRig Stomp I/O + 3rd gen iPad Pro

Hi,

The Stomp I/O is not supported on the 3rd/4th gen of the iPad Pro.

Is the limitation only the hardware? (usb-c vs lightning)

If so I would like to know if it will work if I put the din-lightning cable into a female lightning to usb-c converter. Has anyone tried this? Otherwise, is it completely dead, will they eventually also be supported or is development/patches finished on the product?

Actually on the product specs page I see way at the bottom under the compatibility list:
Also compatible with all newer iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models.
So, then I guess I can order a din to usb-c type cable.
