Axe I/O Solo - Disables all other USB audio devices

Postby tnelso20 » Tue Sep 15, 2020 4:59 am

I just received my Axe I/O Solo. Have not used it yet as I'm waiting to get my guitars out of storage (recent move). I've got it connected and installed all necessary drivers/software. It is recognized and all software is authorized and I'm ready to go.

However... if I connect the Axe I/O, my USB connected headset immediately stops working. If I disconnect the headset and then reconnect it, the system shows it as a USB composite device in Device Manager, but it does not continue detection as a USB headset. This occurs even if the Axe I/O is disconnected, and all software shut down. The only solution to get the USB headset working again is to reboot the PC (Windows 7 / Core i5 / 32GB RAM / 1TB SSD) which is wildly irritating.

Am I missing something? Is this expected behavior?
