Irig keys i/o as modular synth controller?

Postby sublibrarian » Tue May 26, 2020 7:44 am

Hi everyone!
I see that the Irig keys I/O has a mini-din output. Can it be used to control a hardware instrument - e.g. a Roland MC101, Korg Volca etc - using an adequate mini-din to 5-pin midi cable?
Thanks.

Hi, that is for the Lightning or USB connectivity so you would not have traditional 5-pin MIDI compatibility with iRig Keys I/O. We have iRig Keys 2 that has MIDI input and output so you can control stand-alone gear like UNO Synth and other analog synthesizers, UNO Drum and other drum machines, and more: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigkeys2/
