I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 2017, macOS Catalina 10.15.4 and have the iRig Keys 2 Pro 37-key controller.
I have had mixed results trying to get this controller to work with a few different DAWs and the standalone Total Studio 2 Max software. I am connected directly to the MacBook via USB-C to USB-C. I am able to control sounds from UVI Workstation, Miroslav Philharmonik 2 and SampleTank 4 as standalone. However, when I have tried using these in Reaper and Garage Band or the native Presence plug-in from Studio One 4 Artist, the controller doesn't work. I've selected it in the MIDI settings, it's recognized but there are no no sounds, and no visual indication there's anything coming through.
I'm frustrated, because I'm sure it's user error and I'm missing some setting as a new MacBook user. Any help would be appreciated.
