IRIG HD 2 connection to a FRFR guitar cabinet

Hello everyone

I’ve recently joined the IK multimedia world and I’m in love with the IRIG HD 2, the IRIG blue board and all the tones which AmpliTube can offer the players.

I’d like to know if anyone has tried connecting their IRIG device from the Amp output socket into an active guitar cabinet????. I’m currently connected to some simple active desktop speakers but in a gigging scenario, is it possible to connect to something like a HeadRush or indeed the line 6 power cab or similar.

I'm guessing that would be the perfect combination... I'm pretty new too so I'm commenting just to hear other's opinions.

Hello Fishmansquid.

I sent this question to IK multimedias support team and they have said it’s possible to connect in the way of the previous question.

The connections are as follows.

Guitar > iRig > iPad > iRig OUT to the powered amp.

Hope this works for both of us.
