IRig Pro Duo. How do I get the most battery life?

Postby joeyhyland » Sun Aug 25, 2019 12:22 pm

So I usually just play at home with the 9v adapter but it’s so nice out. I want to start practicing outside. I’m planning on eventually busking with the IRig Pro Duo anyways.

So far I’ve only used the included batteries and some energizer alkaline batteries. As you all know the battery life is pretty crappy.

In the specs it says NiMH rechargeable batteries can last up to 10 hours. Has anyone had these kind of results?

I’m not usually recording and I don’t use phantom power. I usually just play through amps in GarageBand and have another track for vocals. Super basic.

Also I have a 10000 mAh power bank. Has anyone tried using usb to 9v dc adapters (like Birdcord) to power their IRig Pro Duo? If so, how long did the charge last?

Any remedies for a long lasting charge would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
