Hello,

I am trying to set up AmpliTube 4 with Focusrite solo 2nd gen on my hp laptop windows 10.

I can hear the guitar in my speakers without having to load AmpliTube 4. I see the Focusrite usb in the input and output device in the windows audio (Exclusive)
technology section
The clean guitar sound the same as having it plugged in to laptop without having AmpliTube 4 loaded but when I load AmpliTube 4 and change the amp to a
High gain distortion amp it sounds muffled I can’t hear the guitar

Thanks for your post.

It sounds like you may have your "Direct Monitor" switch on. This will send signal from your input straight to your output, bypassing any processing from your computer.

Please note, you may want to use ASIO drivers with your device. While WASPI (Windows Audio) drivers work well for video games or movies, these are not he best for real-time audio applications. Below is the download page for Focusrite drivers.

Once set up with an ASIO driver, if you still have any issues, please check with our team at the link below. Send me a PM when you open the ticket to let us know your ticket number.
