Stomp I/O it's a great product idea!.
But it falls short on the Amplitube integration, and "Live" application.
It fails to compete with the analog solution for live/stage, and flexybility (Loopers, pedals?)
And that is not right coming from a computer product.
It needs a Utility App to remap midi/functions, and enable workflow changes and still be the AmpliTube main human interface for "Live" use,
All improvements should focus on not making you look up the App/Board status,.
It takes away the focus from "playing guitar"
Switching from Loop/Preset/Stomp selection should be 'Instant', not pressing 1+2 and wait
- Just Change! when 1+2 are pressed at the same time ?
- Or with a dedicated external MIDI switch ?
- Or with a dedicated external ON/OFF switch ?
A companion/extension board to keep the Amplitube integration tight
instead of a 3rd party MIDI board that makes you think why you got 'Stomp I/O' in the first place ?
- Not bluetooth (is too slow)
- at least, 5 switches, #1 #2 #3 #4 #Mode (patch/loop/stomp) ?
Add Loop mode should/could be,
#1 record, play , reset (hold)
#2 record, play , reset (hold)
#3 record, play , reset (hold)
#4 record, play , reset (hold)
In my opinion... and that is why it should be configurable
