[Solved] iRig Duo Pro left right separation

Postby dubc1984 » Thu Nov 01, 2018 5:14 am

Hi,

I love this product for recording but recently tried using it during rehearsal and couldnt get the left/right to output separately. What I want.

Guitar
- Input 1 (into AmpliTube in iPad)
- Left monitor out

Vocals
- Input 2 (into vocalive in iPad)
- Right monitor out

At the moment I get both inputs mixed and coming out both the monitors.

Thanks,
DubC

Hello,

Thanks for your post!

Try opening both AmpliTube and VocaLive, then go to MENU > Settings and enable "Background Audio Mode". This will allow both apps to play back no matter where your screen is looking.

Now, in AmpliTube, look at Track 1 and you will see "Channel 1" under this. This means this track will receive signal from Input 1 on the iRig Pro DUO. Make sure to pan this track to the left in the Mixer/Recorder page of AmpliTube.

Now go to VocaLive and repeat the same process. In Track 1, tap on Channel 1 and a small window will pop up. Scroll down and select 2. This track will receive signal from Input 2 on the iRig Pro DUO. Make sure to pan this track to the right in the Mixer/Recorder page of VocaLive.

Hope this helps!

Thank-you for this in-depth reply.

This has given me the ability to separate the channel inputs and outputs now.

Thank-you Ryan_IK !!!
