best way to connect iRig HD 2 to two studio monitors

Is the best way to do this using something like a 3.5mm Male TRS to Dual XLR Male Stereo?

For a pair of PreSonus Eris E5

Hmm, looking at the picture of the PreSonus speakers, the quickest/cheapest way would be a cable that is 3.5 mm TRS to two RCA plugs.

These are cheap and easy to get at WalMart, and would give you a stereo image.

And, it would tell you if you like the sound through the monitors.

One watch out would be a possible ground loop hum since the monitors are both powered.

Maybe the PreSonus site gives some information on options for connecting the monitors to a laptop or sound card? Should be the same principle.

I'm interested to know what solution you end up with.
