Amplitube 5 - MIDI CC turns stomp box on but not off

Hi,
I'm using a Cuwave 4 button MIDI controller. Sending CC20-CC23 turns each of the stomp boxes on fine. But sending them again doesn't turn the stomp boxes back off. If I turn them off through the UI I can turn them on again, but still not turn them off again.

Does anyone know what's going on there?
