This forum is always filled with so many complaints, I know I've entered a few myself; I just wanted to make an entry to say Kudos to the IK Multimedia team for the native Apple M1 silicon support recently added to AmpliTube 5 and ToneX. My previous Intel based MBP used to get so hot and the fans would be cranking when just using AmpliTube 5, the iRig Stomp and a few stomps in Amplitube and maybe Ultimate Guitar loaded in Safari.
That has completely disappeared with Apple Silicon, I can now leave the HDMI plugged in to the MBP with the top closed and use a large external display, and have Amplitube, Safari and Guitar Pro 8 all running at the same time, and the processor is barely working, the device stays cool.
