I see all the hype about AmpliTube 5 MAX v2, so what is the difference between AmpliTube 5 MAX v2 and Amplitube 5 MAX. If there is why is there an $200.00 charge to pre-existing amplitube owners compared to new buyers..

When AmpliTube 5 MAX v2 was released, there was a $50 off coupon for those that had the previous version of AmpliTube 5 MAX ($300 worth of gear - MESA/Boogie 2 and four virtual X-GEAR pedals - for half that, basically).

I've made a request to the team that this coupon be re-enabled, so we shall see if that returns.

It is a bundle, it is not a new audio engine update. It does not include TONEX, TONEX is available separately (but currently is on promo where you get TONEX MAX free with AmpliTube 5 MAX v2 so if you did upgrade you'd get that too through the end of this month).

I have version 1 max, but I also have all 4 X Gear pedals because I bought the real ones. So wwhat exactly would I get if I bought version 2?

No, we cannot have a $50 coupon on top of a promo where AmpliTube 5 MAX v2 is an insanely discounted 99.99. This IS on promo so if you are waiting for it for less than 99.99 (as well as additionally using JamPoints to make that even lower) you're probably going to be waiting a while.

The difference is as stated above, so it looks like you'd get MESA/Boogie 2.

Note that AmpliTube MESA/Boogie 2 is 4 amps & 5 cabinets.
