Amplitube 5 Buffer and midi input

I am using amplitube 5.5.6 with a macbook pro with 10.15 and 16 gig of ram. The issues I have are I can not change to buffer setting and can only use the 512 setting and on the midi input I can not pick anything but ANY. Has anyone have these issuues ?? I dont seen to have the same issues on my mac pro running 10.13.
