Standalone Tonax App and UAD ASIO driver issue

Hi,
I have a huge issue with my "Standalone" Tonax App.
I am running on Windows 10 with UAD Apollo 8 (Firewire).
When I set the Tonax to work with the UAD ASIO driver, the sound of the amplifiers sounded metallic and dull, and could not be used.

When I set the driver to "Windows Audio Exclusive Mode" or "Windows Audio low latency" Mode, the sound from the Tonax is OK (with latency but sounds good).

When I ran the Tonax under Amplitube 5 and at my CUBASE Pro12 in ASIO, mode, it sounds good with no issues at all.

my issue is only with ASIO with the standalone configuration.

This prevents me from activating the capture feature of this software.
