Straight forward, no nonsense, right to the point  AND as a bonus, very few posts over many years!

TONEX will be a serious experiment. Again, we'll see .... a 174 USD virtual paperweight, or the next big thing. Magic 8 ball says: We just don't know.

Real working guitarists like it, and captured a Princeton in less-than-optimal conditions that people say sounds great in the video so we kind of know :D

I've long thought that AmpliTube was not so much a "product" as a "platform" (through which one deployed the "products", which were the actual gear models, purchased in bundles or separately). Tonex kind of reinforces that notion -- except that now it's more like there is an "IKM guitar/bass processing platform", and models from AmpliTube (simulations) and Tonex (profiles/captures) all play within it. (Though, yes, I realize that Tonex models are not yet completely interoperable within AmpliTube, though clearly that's how it will be soon enough.)

Perhaps it is likewise only a matter of time before actual T-RackS models likewise roll in? (OK, those are perhaps aimed at a slightly different, if overlapping, market -- but, still ....)
