Can't hear anything

Hello.
I'm using AmpliTube 5 on macOS Monterey and I can't hear anything. Is this app compatible with macOS Monterey?

Hello pacifica1985 and welcome to the forums.

AT5 should work on Monterey, although if you are on a M1 processor this will be via Rosetta 2.

Make sure you have given the OS permission to use AT5 under System Preferences>Security and Privacy>Privacy>Microphone.

It must be something else because I have intel chip and full permission to use mic.

Ok, well that's the obvious one to check on a Mac.

So, will need a bit more information about your system and what you've done so far.

1) what audio interface are you using?
2) have you checked that this AI is selected in the AudioMIDI setup in AT5?
3) can you see a signal coming into and going out of the AT5 GUI even if you can't hear it?
4) how are you monitoring the audio - headphones or speakers.

What else have you done to fault find the problem?

I am using AmpliTube 5 as standalone app.
I use M-TRACK SOLO audio card and selected it as input. Also I use built-in audio output (headphones).I also used the sound card as output but no change. When I start the app I can only hear that it is on ( some kind of microphonic sound).When I play the guitar the signal is not detected.

That interface is designed to use input 2 as the instrument input, so make sure that’s where your guitar is connected to, the instrument is selected with the switch and you have selected input 2 as the left input in the AudioMidi settings in AT5.

You will also need USB selected on the front Output switch.
