I've started using Amp 5 recently with axe solo i/o and i'm trying to record onto my DAW with it (Reaper)
It's sounding really fizzy and lacks any real power. The signal coming into reaper seems to be really hot even with the gain turned right down on the axe i/o.
I'm using a decent IR and the VOX AC30 sim.
Just cant get a decent recorded tone out of it. It's either so low that you cant hear the amp sim properly or turned up with horrible distortion.
I've used other amp sims and don't have this issue. Is there something I'm missing using this sim?
